Chicago Legend Lil Mister Lives Forever

Lil Mister, born as Antwon Fields has been known for contributing to Windy City's infamous drill scene. His sound was heavily influenced by the harsh streets of Chicago. He was a member of the Wuga World Set, a branch of Gangster Disciples. Lil Mister began developing his passion for creating music and had his breakout track in 2012 for the song "No Lackin".

In 2013 the Bricksquad rapper who sometimes went by the name "Montana", revealed his blood relation to Lil Durk on Twitter. Suddenly Dirk's label name of "Only The Family" took on a whole new meaning. The two went back on forth on twitter with Dirk offering words of encouragement for his younger cousin. The young rapper's music career began to skyrocket but grabbed the attention of the police. He was soon after imprisoned on traffic and weapons-related charges. During his incarceration, he got in contact with the owner of MTM entertainment. The two would talk on a regular basis, coming up with a game plan to implement once the artist was set free.

In 2016, he was released from prison and published a video to his newest song, "Ride or Die". Despite his newfound freedom and reignited success, he was shot and killed at the age of 24. He sustained a bullet wound to the head at around 7:15 p.m. local time in the Englewood neighborhood. The rapper was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. No shooters have been found or charged concerning the murder.

MTM Entertainment followed through with the plans that were made and published the unreleased song, "Bad Habit". Although Lil Mister passed away, his spirit is still alive in his city and in the hearts of his fans all around the world. Below are links to articles featured on various websites related to the release of the hit song, "Bad Habit".
